Reductil(Raductil, Meridia, Vintix, Sibutramine HCL, Ectiva, Aderan, Obestat, Sibutral, Sibutramina, Sibutraminum, Leptos)
What is Reductil?
Reductil (generic name: Sibutramine hydrochloride; trade name Meridia in the USA; Raductil, Reduxade, Ectiva, Obestat, Leptos in Europe and other countries) is a prescription medication for people who suffer from extreme weight related problems.
This weight loss drug has been well studied, and it has been found that when combined with proper diet and exercise, 77% of the people in the study group lost weight and experienced health benefits.
Reductil promotes gradual weight loss over longer periods of time (it may be used for 12 months or more). Most weight loss experts agree this method of losing weight is healthier and more effective at producing long-term results.
How does Reductil work?
Reductil increases the sense of fullness when eating. It works by affecting appetite control centers in the brain. This causes you to eat less and results in weight loss.
How to Take Reductil?
The usual dosage is one capsule taken once a day. Reductil capsule should be swallowed whole with a drink in the morning.
Reductil should be used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet. Taking more exercise is also recommended.
If you forget to take a dose of Reductil do not take an extra capsule to "make up" for the dose you forgot.
Your doctor will determine how long you should take Reductil.
